This is the image for the news article titled Dreams Do Come True InitiativeClayton County Public Schools (CCPS) Homeless Education Department continues its collaboration with the “Dreams Do Come True” prom dress event. For the past seven years, this event has been an awesome resource, providing hundreds of female junior and senior students with the reward of a prom dress at no cost.

 
Through donations of new and gently worn formal dresses, shoes and accessories, this two weekend event hosts a cherished environment of grace, love and respect. The young ladies leave this event ready to step into their school prom event.


Please feel free to share the attached “Dreams Do Come True” Referral Information with junior and senior female students and their parents/guardians. To qualify for the event, the students should have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher.  “Dreams Do Come True” event dates are Friday and Saturday, March 9-10 and March 16-17.


Please note that this initiative is for all juniors and seniors who meet the “Dreams Do Come True” criteria and is not exclusive to students assisted by the CCPS Homeless Education Department.  For more details about this initiative, please see the flyers linked below.
