GO Green! Save the World (Grades 3-5)
GO GREEN! Save the World! (3-5) will provide opportunities for students to go green and save our world by engaging in hands on activities that demonstrate the importance of environmental sustainability and encourage students to consider the impact that day-to-day activities have on the environment. This camp will focus on two major environmental challenges for our world today: human interactions/impact and ecosystem sustainability and revitalization. The camp will underscore the idea that humans are not separate from the environment but rather are integrally connected to and reliant upon it. Students will venture outside to investigate and quantify critical aspects of the natural world, and they will construct models of devices and living creatures to fully experience the concepts being presented in how to save our planet through environmental sustainability.
