STEM Scoop Journalism (Grades K-11)
STEM SCOOP (K-11) provides a STEMulating learning experience in which students use their literacy skills authentically to complete the work of real investigative journalists currently in the field. Students will operate as a STEMulating investigative journalism team to collect and write the exciting news of local STEM Camps occurring at select summer school sites. Using their reading, writing, listening, speaking, and observing skills, student reporters, photographers, videographers, writers and editors will stay abreast of the STEM camp affairs and capture the story through interviews, photographs and video.
