CCPS Elevates Disinfection Protocols
Clayton County Public Schools Elevates Disinfection Protocols with Electrostatic Technology to Help Protect Against the Spread of COVID-19
Posted on 08/05/2020
Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is pleased to announce improved cleaning and disinfection protocols to better serve students, staff and surrounding communities. These improvements include investment in the Clorox® Total 360® System, an electrostatic sprayer, to add an additional layer of protection against illness-causing bacteria and viruses including SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

While CCPS will open the 2020-2021 School Year virtually on August 10, the district will continue to proactively enhance its cleaning and disinfection protocols to create a more comprehensive and efficient disinfection process in order to more effectively protect against the spread of COVID-19 when campuses reopen to face-to-face instruction.
