Eligibility Referral and Identification Process
Clayton County Public Schools provides a variety of ways for students to be possibly identified for the gifted and talented program.  In the fall and early spring, schools do a Talent Search.  This allows teachers to recognize those students who may exhibit characteristics in Mental Ability, Achievement, Creativity and/or Motivation.  Each February the Planned Experience is given to all Kindergarten and first grade students.  For more information about your school’s talent search, please reach out to the Gifted Lead teacher in your school.
