GaDOE Releases Draft ESSA Plan
After receiving bi-partisan approval in Congress, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) was signed into law in 2015, and freed states from their No Child Left Behind (NCLB) waiver agreements and entrusted them with the responsibility to develop their own state plans to support education.
Today, June 15, 2017, the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) released a draft of Georgia’s Consolidated State Plan for the Every Student Succeeds Act.
