According to the Census Response Rate map, (https://2020census.gov/en/response-rates.html), as of September 9, 2020, 65.6% of the nation and 61.0% of Georgia residents have participated in the 2020 United States Census.
As Clayton County Public Schools continues in its partnership with Clayton County Government’s Clayton County Complete Count Census Committee and the U.S. Census Bureau Atlanta Regional Office, only 58.2% of Clayton County residents have completed the survey. That is a low score, but with your help, we can make it 100% participation!
As a reminder, all residents are encouraged to complete the 2020 Census and can do so by visiting the following link (https://my2020census.gov) on your smartphone, tablet, or iPad. You can also complete it by mail or by phone. By taking the Census, we’ll secure 10 years of funding for our schools, healthcare, and programs like job assistance and youth activities! This equates to roughly $6.89 billion over the next 10-year period! For more information, please visit the official Census website (www.census.gov).
