CCPS Gets Ready for GMAS

In preparation for the 2017 Georgia Milestone Assessment System (GMAS), Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is encouraging all stakeholders to participate in assisting students prepare to take the assessments this spring.
 
Scheduled to begin Thursday, April 13, 2017 for elementary and middle school students and Monday, April 24, 2017 for high school students, the GMAS measures how well students have learned the knowledge and skills outlined in the state-adopted content standards in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. 
 
In keeping with the CCPS Strategic Goal number one, to increase academic achievement for all students in Clayton County Public Schools as evidenced by state, national and international assessment results, we would like to share some helpful ways stakeholders can assist students prepare for tests and assessments such as the GMAS as well as other tests taken throughout the academic year.
