GaDOE Shares COVID-19 Restart Guidelines
GaDOE & Georgia Department of Public Health Shares COVID-19 Restart Guidelines with K-12 Districts
Posted on 06/01/2020

As school districts across the state of Georgia work to establish plans for safely reopen, the Georgia Department of Education in collaboration with the Georgia Department of Public Health has released Georgia’s K-12 Recovery Plan. Designed to help schools plan for a safe return to in-person instruction in fall 2020, the Georgia K-12 Recovery Plan is guidelines, not mandates, intended to ensure the safety of students, staff, and families while remaining flexible, responsive, and achievable in the K-12 setting.

While Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) continues to create a reopening Framework and Plan, district leaders will utilize the attached document and consultation with the local public health department to generate solutions that are appropriate for all employees, students, their families, and stakeholders.
