Superintendent Proposes to Accelerate Extended Learning Beyond the Classroom Initiative

Clayton County Public Schools is pleased to announce an expansion of its Learning Beyond the Classroom Initiative. ALL students in grades 3rd through 12th will receive devices to increase academic achievement if approved by the Board of Education. The plan will also include daily use of laptops for all K-2 students with devices to use over planned digital learning days in the new school year. District leaders will also focus efforts on sharing news about internet access to families in need of wifi capabilities. More details about this initiative will be revealed during the Board of Education virtual meeting scheduled to take place on Monday, May 4, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.
