Clayton Reads

This year, we are ensuring Clayton READS 30 Minutes Every Day This Summer by selecting books, free eBooks, and free audiobooks for our Summer Reading suggestions! 

Students who read a variety of books each day of the summer are better prepared for the new school year. Ensure your child is reading at least 30 minutes a day all summer long!

 Complete each step below to ensure your child is ready to read this summer!

 Step 1: Click the image below that matches the grade level your child is entering next school year. Follow the instructions on the list to request access to the eBook library.

Step 3: After reading, elementary students can “show what they know” by taking an Accelerated Reader quiz by going to my.clayton.k12.ga.us, login using your student username and password, and clicking Renaissance. Students using Accelerated Reader for the first time can e-mail [email protected] for support.

 More Reading Options: The digital resources below are available this summer to provide even more reading choices.

MyOn provides access to thousands of high-quality, high-interest eBooks including fiction, nonfiction, and graphic novels. Schools with MyOn Access can login at my.clayton.k12.ga.us and click Renaissance to login and read digital books in MyOn.

TumbleBook Library (
claytonpl.org/kids, click TumbleBook Library): The Clayton County Public Library provides access to TumbleBook Library, a collection of hundreds of ebooks including animated picture books, read-along chapter books, videos, and more.

To begin reading, go to 
claytonpl.org/kids and click TumbleBook Library.

Achieve3000 (For ALL students in grades 9-12): Students in grades 9-12 are able to use the Achieve3000 online reading program to select and read high-interest, informational articles to continue developing their vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension skills at school or at home.

To begin reading, go to 
my.clayton.k12.ga.us , click Achieve 3000, and login using your student username and password.

Capstone
Capstone is offering free trials through the end of August to their PebbleGo website where your child can learn about topics of interest and read eBooks. To begin reading, go to https://login.pebblego.com/, and login with Username: gasummer23 and Password: school
