Procedures for joining CTAE related Professional Organization

Professional organizations exist in each curriculum area and administrative level which educators in Career, Technical, and Agriculture Education may join.  Each organization has it’s own unique set of goals and membership benefits.  Each organization is an affiliate of the statewide organization Georgia Association for Career and Technical Education (GACTE) which is an affiliate of the national organization Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE).   The diagram below shows this relationship:

Teachers and interested individuals may apply for membership by completing an application on line and then printing it out. To apply online, log onto the website www.acteonline.org. At the top of the page, click on Join/ACTE.
