Nagi Eltayeb began his teaching career in the Clayton County Public School District in 2016 as a STEM Math & Science Teacher. He is currently serving in the capacity of Teacher Development Specialist for the Department of Professional Learning.  Nagi has 7 years of experience in 6-12 teaching and coaching. He utilizes his skills and experience with coaching and support to promote growth, professional development, communication and collaboration in an effort to improve the curriculum and strive to make CCPS a  "Center of Excellence".

Nagi's background includes a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Accounting, minor in Economics, and a Masters in Educational Leadership. He holds an Online Teaching and Teaching Support/Coaching Endorsements. In 2019, Nagi was named Teacher of the Year at his school. He has served as Discipline Lead, Math Department Chair, Math Instructional Coach and athletic coach (football, basketball, soccer, track) at his school. His ability to build rapport and connect with all stakeholders through learning and coaching is impeccable.

Nagi is native of Atlanta, Georgia, a graduate of two historical black institutions, Booker T. Washington High School and Fort Valley State University. Outside of work, Nagi enjoys spending time with family, watching and playing sports, exercising, writing music/poetry, food tastings, and traveling.
