Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to host the 5th Annual Mental Health Awareness & Youth Violence Prevention 5K on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the Lake Spivey Recreation Center at the Clayton County International Park.

Formerly known as the “CCPS Teen Violence & Suicide Awareness 5K”, this reimagined mental wellness event is designed to educate and raise awareness among young people, families, and our community about mental health, wellbeing, and suicide and violence prevention. This year, emphasis is placed on celebrating and promoting resilience among scholars.

All CCPS scholars, families, employees, and community members are invited to come together in unity to raise awareness, break the stigma, and save lives. Registration is now open and all proceeds will benefit district wellbeing efforts for staff and scholars.
