Two members of the Clayton County Board of Education are sponsoring fall and Halloween activities this weekend.

On Saturday, October 29, Ms. Victoria Williams (District 4) is joining with the City of Forest Park in hosting a Fall Festival. In addition to bounce houses, pony rides, games and “Trunk or Treat”, Ms. Williams will be distributing a variety of literacy resources. The Fall Festival will take place at the STARR Park Amphitheater, 5301 Park Avenue in Forest Park, and will begin at 12:00 p.m.

On Sunday, October 30, Ms. Joy Tellis Cooper (District 8) will join with the City of Morrow in presenting a Safe Halloween from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event, scheduled for The District located at 1065 Olde Towne on Morrow Road, will feature a haunted house, music, food trucks, trick or treat and much more.

Clayton County Public Schools commends and thanks Ms. Williams and Ms. Cooper for providing safe opportunities for celebration the weekend for our students and their families.
