Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) will observe the second Extending Learning Beyond the Classroom (ELBC) Day of the 2022-2023 School Year on Friday, September 16, 2022. All students in grades PreK-12 will remain home for asynchronous (independent) learning. All district staff will report to their respective locations on  Friday, September 16, 2022 .

Things to Know For ELBC Days:

Students will access their assignments from their teachers and work independently at home. Students may need the following resources - in most cases - to access their learning: 

Computer Device

Reliable Internet 

Access to Canvas Learning Management System 

Access to digital textbooks and/or online learning platforms 

 

How will students be counted present for the ELBC day? 

All students will be counted present. Students will be expected to adhere to their teacher’s procedures for completing and submitting assignments. 

 

How will students receive their meals for ELBC day?

The school district will provide breakfast and lunch meals to all CCPS students on each of the five ELBC Days. Students will pick up their breakfast and lunch meals at school on Thursday before the scheduled ELBC Day.
