The week of March 6-10, 2023 marks the observance of School Social Work Week. This week provides an opportunity to celebrate and emphasize School Social Work's contributions of focusing on the “whole child”, linking families to community resources, being a valuable voice as part of the school’s multidisciplinary team, and advocating for the profession of School Social Work.

With the theme of "We Rise” School Social Workers rise up - supporting their students, families, and school communities.  School Social Workers rise to share hope.  They rise to listen and understand.  They rise to challenge inequities. They rise to support all students. School social workers help students meet the academic, social, and emotional challenges on the road to becoming successful and productive young adults.

Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) salutes the district’s School Social Workers and encourages everyone to join CCPS as we thank these dedicated employees for their continued efforts to support children throughout our school district.
