Dismissal Schedule for End of the 2022-23 School Year

This is the image for the news article titled Dismissal Schedule for End of the 2022-23 School YearThe 2022-2023 academic year for students enrolled in Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) will come to an end on Wednesday, May 24. Prior to this date, a number of actions will take place affecting CCPS seniors and students across the district.
- Friday, May 12, 2023 – The last day of school for graduating seniors will be Friday, May 12. Prior to the last day of school, we are advising seniors to meet with their respective counselors to ensure that all requirements have been fulfilled to graduate. After May 12, seniors should not be on any campus unless they have a scheduled appointment, participating in graduation rehearsal or a special recognition event.
- Monday and Tuesday, May 22-23, 2023 – Monday and Tuesday, May 22-23, will serve as early dismissal days for all high school students only. High schools will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. Elementary and Middle schools will dismiss at their regular times.
- Wednesday, May 24, 2023 (the last day of the 2022-2023 School Year) – Wednesday, May 24, schools will dismiss on the following schedule: high schools at 12:00 p.m.; elementary schools will dismiss at 1:15 p.m.; and middle schools will dismiss at 2:15 p.m.
