2021 Advanced Learning for All-Prep Program

ALA Program
Good to Great: Reading and Writing Enrichment Camp
will provide rising 3rd graders with the opportunity to take an active and hands-on approach to reading and writing. Students will discover rich text and develop critical writing skills by engaging in peer to peer discussions, close readings, writing exercises, and much more.  Students will enjoy making real world connections to some of their favorite stories through Interactive Read Alouds.  Each day will be a fun filled day of literacy with shared and independent reading, writing, and critical thinking activities.  Let’s sharpen our pencils and our brains this summer with tons of literacy fun!

Program Dates:  Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23, 2021
Format: Rising 3rd Graders Virtual Only 



Advanced Learning for All-Prep Program will provide students enrolled in  6-8 Accelerated Grade Math, 8th Grade Accelerated Science, Advanced Placement Environmental Science, Advanced Placement Computer Science Principles, Advanced Placement U.S. History and Advanced Placement American Government with an opportunity to get a head start on course content. Students will also be taught essential skills necessary to navigate the AP classroom.
