The month of October is home to National Custodial Workers Recognition Day (October 2). Clayton County Public Schools and the Clayton County Board of Education encourage all stakeholders to use the month of October to appreciate and celebrate the district’s custodians for their hard work and dedication to keeping our schools clean and safe. A sincere thank you goes a long way in acknowledging those employees who keep our schools and workplaces throughout the district and across the nation running smoothly.

In celebration of our valued team members, all custodians are invited to attend a pop-up shopping experience and fish fry on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the CCPS Cafe from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The CCPS Cafe is located at 1098 Fifth Avenue, in Jonesboro, Georgia 30236.
