Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month by shining a light on stories of hope and resilience within our community. In October, Ms. Jessie Goree, Chair of the Clayton County Board of Education and representative of District 3, opened her heart in an exclusive interview with Mr. Anthony Rhoads, a reporter with the Clayton News Daily. In this heartwarming conversation, Ms. Goree shared her journey, offering an in-depth look at her remarkable story of survival. This inspiring story was captured by members of the districts’ Editorial, Media Engagement, and Production Services Department, and we are honored to share it with the Clayton County Community.
