Monday, November 6, 2023, featured an expanded session of the Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) weekly Executive Cabinet. Superintendent/CEO of Schools, Dr. Anthony W. Smith, welcomed current and former superintendents and leadership team members from surrounding school districts for a thought-provoking special presentation. Guests included Mr. Trent North, Superintendent of Douglas County Schools; Dr. Eric Holland, Superintendent of Rome City Schools; and Dr. Aaron Geter, Superintendent of Wilkinson County Schools. Also in attendance were Dr. Curtis Jones, Georgia School Superintendents Association and former Superintendent of Bibb County [and 2019 National Superintendent of the Year]; and Dr. Samuel King of the Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA).
