REMINDER: Clayton County Public Schools Now Administering Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine
Out of an abundance of caution, Clayton County Public Schools will pause the administration of the Johnson and Johnson (Janssen) COVID-19 vaccine. Through our continued partnership with Clayton County Fire and Emergency Services, the district will offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to employees, students and their family members at our Vaccine Clinic beginning Thursday, April 22, 2021. The Pfizer vaccine can be administered to individuals ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present. Staff and students can register themselves and family members for an appointment in the RapidIdentity Portal, beginning Saturday, April 17, 2021. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is offered in two doses three weeks (21 days) apart.

COVID-19 Testing Opportunities
The Clayton County Public Schools COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will not offer onsite COVID-19 testing on Friday, April 16, 2021. Through our continued partnership with ID-Tech Molecular Labs, we are proud to share that employees have the option to go to the ID-Tech Molecular Lab location located at 777 Cleveland Avenue SW in Atlanta, Georgia, or schedule in-home testing. In addition, CCPS is proud to partner with ID ESM Diagnostics to provided same-day COVID Testing on Fridays (April 23rd, April 30th and May 7th) at the North Jonesboro Center.
