Flowers, Coordinating Supervisor of Student Discipline, Prevention, and Intervention with the Department of Student Discipline, Prevention, and Intervention and Division of Teaching and Learning & Strategic Improvement for being selected as a featured speaker at the 2023 GAPBS conference!  GAPBS conference will be held December 7-8 at Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, GA.

During the conference, educators from across the state will gather to learn and discuss empirical findings, assessment and intervention methods, current topics, and other aspects of Positive Behavior Support. Dr. Flowers's session, “Help My Students Are Angry! How can Positive Support Practices Improve Student Aggression?" addresses the root causes behind aggression and what Districts can do to help students move past anger into achievement.

Please join us as we congratulate Dr. Flowers on earning this outstanding opportunity to share with educators around the state how to implement positive practices in schools and communities that support scholars with behavior concerns manifested and displayed through aggression.
