As we observe Winter Break Clayton County Public Schools reminds students and stakeholders that GAGGLE is the safety and wellness application that will be utilized to keep our scholars safe while using devices. This joint effort between the Department of Safety & Security and the Division of Support Services after hours Safety and Wellness team will ensure that our community is connected to mental health and wellbeing supports during the break. This on-call team will respond to incidents reported to the Department of Safety and Security. The Safety and Wellness team will be able to provide immediate mental health support.

For direct requests for support during the break we want to provide the following information:
  1. If the student is stating they have an immediate plan to harm themselves or anyone else, call 911.

  2. If the student needs 24/7 on-site crisis management through assessment, de-escalation, consultation and referral utilize the Georgia Mobile Crisis Line.

If you simply need tips on how to relax during the break and utilize self care strategies to come back refreshed and focused, we invite you to utilize resources found here.
