Clayton County Public Schools Celebrates Georgia School Board Appreciation Week | March 14-18, 2022
Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) takes great pride in saluting the Clayton County Board of Education during Georgia School Board Appreciation Week, March 14-18, 2022, a statewide celebration that calls attention to the contributions of the Board and its nine members.
CCPS expresses appreciation to our Board of Education members for their dedication and service: Ms. Jessie Goree, Board Chair, District 3; Mr. Benjamin Straker, Board Vice Chair, District 9; Ms. Jasmine Bowles, District 1; Mr. Mark Christmas, District 2; Ms. Victoria Williams, District 4; Dr. Deatrice Dee Haney, District 5; Ms. Mary Baker, District 6; Ms. Sabrina Hill, District 7; and Ms. Joy Tellis Cooper, District 8.
In observance of this celebratory week, we are proud to present this special video highlighting each member. The video was produced and edited by Miss Alicia Armstead, a senior at Mundy’s Mill High School, with assistance from Ms. Charity Jordan, television & video technology teacher.
