Stakeholder Input Meeting Information

Clayton County Public Schools solicited stakeholder feedback on developing its plan to address learning loss with funds received through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) of 2021. President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) of 2022 into law on March 11, 2021. The law provided over $1 trillion in COVID-19 relief; Clayton County Public Schools received over $100 million through the ARP ESSER III program to be expended before September 30, 2024. These federal funds help sustain the safe and effective operations of our schools and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our students and staff.

The district is planning to utilize funding to address several critical areas, including academic acceleration and interventions, afterschool enrichment and tutorial programs, facilities and operations support, professional learning for staff, student and staff health and well-being, social and emotional learning, technology support, and continuity of educational services and staff.

The 2021 American Rescue Plan Act has granted our school district substantial funds for various educational initiatives. We value your insights to ensure that these resources are budgeted in accordance with our needs and priorities. Your input will aid us in making well-informed decisions that enhance our students' educational journey.

We appreciate your contribution; your perspective is highly valuable and will play a key role in shaping our finalized plan and budget. Thank you for engaging with us on this important matter.
