The new hours to receive meals are 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Students must present school i.d. cards to receive meals. Parents can receive meals on their children's behalf only if the student is present at the time of pick up.

The locations selected to serve as meal distribution sites effective Monday, March 16, 2020, are Edmonds Elementary, Jackson Elementary, Lake Ridge Elementary, Eddie White Academy, Rex Mill Middle, Kendrick Middle School, North Clayton Middle, Forest Park High, Mundy's Mill High, Riverdale High.

In addition, Clayton County Public Schools is partnering with the Atlanta Food Bank to provide mobile food pantries that will be available to support the families of CCPS students. The Atlanta Food Bank will be held on March 20, 2020, at Forest Park Middle School beginning at 4:00 p.m and at Riverdale Elementary School on March 31, 2020 beginning at 3:00 p.m.

While the district continues to monitor the needs of our families during the spread of COVID-19, leaders are researching additional ways to meet the needs of our diverse population. As a result of  these efforts, Clayton County Public Schools will increase the number of sites currently serving meals on Wednesday, March 18 and partner with the Atlanta Food Bank to provide food and grocery service to five (5) additional locations. While the details of the increased sites and partnership logistics are being finalized, we ask that all parties interested in volunteer opportunities to assist at the Atlanta Food Bank to be determined locations, contact the Clayton County Public Schools Division of Communications via email at (ccpscommunications@clayton.12.ga.us). Additional details will be announced as updates are confirmed.
