Open Letter from Superintendent Beasley
Posted on 04/03/2020

On behalf of Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) Superintendent/CEO of Schools Dr. Morecase J. Beasley, we thank all stakeholders who participated in the 3rd Superintendent Facebook Live Address on Friday, April 3, 2020.

We are aware of the continuous audio issues associated with the Facebook Live Platform. Though the feed was also simultaneously streamed to youtube as well, we do apologize to all stakeholders who had audio difficulties. Please know our troubleshooting effort will continue as we aim to provide all stakeholders with a quality opportunity to engage with Clayton County Public Schools during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

As we work through the aforementioned challenges, we are pleased to share with you the recorded video message as broadcast on our social media platforms. Stakeholders can access the message, by clicking the following link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r9u5yVowbLw) which features information regarding the Class of 2020 graduation updates and more!

Accompanying the Superintendent’s  Video Message is an Open Letter from Superintendent Beasley. It is our hope that this letter finds each of you well as it commends the many individuals who have supported and provided resources to the families of Clayton County. In addition, the letter offers words of encouragement to our community, parents, and students as we all deal with the impact of the global pandemic.
