REMINDER: CCPS School Bus Delivery Meals & Curbside Pickup | CCPS Continues Atlanta Community Food Bank Partnership Effective Friday, Aug. 28
Posted on 09/01/2020

As announced on August 7, 2020, Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is providing nutritious meals to all students as the district begins the 2020-2021 school year virtually. Students are able to participate by visiting bus stops closest to their homes to pick up breakfast and lunch meals Monday through Friday. Students may also visit their nearest school to pick up meals on Monday through Friday curbside from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Please note that parents/guardians may pick up meals on behalf of the students; however, Student ID numbers may be required to identify students. School bus meal delivery routes and times can be found on the CCPS Transportation website and are accessible via the following link: https://tinyurl.com/CCPSNutritionBusRoutes

Clayton County Public Schools has expanded its partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and will now provide grocery services every Friday, effective Friday, August 28, 2020, until further notice. Volunteers are needed for this initiative at the five Food Bank locations to assist with sorting, packaging, and distributing food to participants. Volunteers should arrive two hours before the distribution starts every Friday. Individuals interested in assisting with this volunteer opportunity should confirm with Dr. Angela Horrison-Collier via email (angela.horrison-collier@clayton.k12.ga.us).
