Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is currently accepting and reviewing summer STEM Camp proposals for the 2021 SummerT.I.M.E. (Thrive, Inspire, Motivate and Engage) program.  The deadline to submit a proposal is January 15, 2021.  All proposals should be submitted via this link and should not be emailed:  https://tinyurl.com/SummerLearningProposalRequest

SummerT.I.M.E is an enrichment opportunity designed to encourage students to learn beyond the classroom and address remediation and/or acceleration needs in Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies. SummerT.I.M.E. (Thrive, Inspire, Motivate and Engage) provides a series of summer learning experiences that allow students the opportunity to participate in positive learning and engage in various fun-filled Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) activities. These experiences will provide students in grades K-11 informative sessions to develop skills employers and colleges are currently looking for in STEM literate individuals such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, innovation, and systematic problem-solving.

Please find attached an evaluation guide/rubric that provides details regarding what should be included in the submitted proposal.  Also please find additional details below relevant to the development of the proposal.

Number of Camp Days:  5 - 8
Dates:  To occur in the month of June or July
Enrollment Projection: 100 - 150
Grade Band: Elementary, Middle, and/or High
Available Professional Development Days:  2 days in the month of May, June or July

Elementary Instructional Start and Stop Times:  8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Instructor report  and departure times:  7:00 am - 2:00 pm
Student arrival:  between 7:15 am and 7:30 am
Breakfast: 7:30 am
Lunch:  11:00 am

Secondary (Middle or High) Instructional Start and Stop Times:  9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Instructor report  and departure times:  8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Student arrival:  between 8:15 am and 8:30 am
Breakfast: 8:30 am
Lunch:  12:00 pm
