Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS)  is proud to inform all stakeholders that CCPS will host a “Virtual Fireside Chat" on Thursday, January 28, 2021, designed to prepare students for postsecondary success. Featuring CCPS Superintendent/CEO Dr. Morcease J. Beasley, the Fireside Chat was created as part of the “Yes You Can Promise” (YYCP) which is an extension of the Clayton County Public Schools HBCU Promise.

Featuring a variety of special guest speakers ranging from College/University Presidents, State Representatives, and CEO’s of Community Partners, this event is designed to expose attendees to candid dialogue about supports available to first-year college students during a pandemic. These supports are inclusive of not only academics but also personal, social, and emotional supports.

To be streamed live at 6:30 p.m., all Stakeholders are encouraged to tune in using the following link: https://youtu.be/zrN2p3mwCh8. For more information, please contact Dr. Alicia Dunn, CCPS Director of Counseling, Enrollment & Post-Secondary Readiness, via email at [email protected].
