
Clayton County Public Schools’ (CCPS) leadership is sharing a report from the National Weather Service indicating that possible serious weather may affect our area throughout the day and into the evening today, Tuesday, May 4. The system is expected to produce thunderstorms, higher than normal winds, possible isolated tornadoes and isolated hail. There is expected to be substantial rainfall with the potential of some flooding in low-lying areas. Schools and facilities should be on alert towards the end of the school day and should follow proper severe weather protocols if warranted. For more information, please see the attached Advisory.
