Clayton County Public Schools takes great pride in recognizing each of our 254 custodians on National Custodian Day which is being celebrated on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
This day, also known as National Custodial Worker’s Day or National Custodian Appreciation Day, is identified to offer thanks to custodial workers for what they do every day.
These employees deserve a special day because they normally work without being noticed or receiving special attention. The results of their work, namely a clean and healthy environment for students and adults, is important and indeed recognizable. It is therefore important to observe National Custodian Day to let them know their efforts are most definitely appreciated and celebrated.
Please join us as we salute and honor the men and women who work behind the scenes in their support of the district and its commitment to be a high performing school system for our students and our communities.
