Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to announce that Tuesday, October 26, 2021, will be designated as “Atlanta Braves Day” throughout the school district in honor of the Atlanta Braves advancing to the Major League Baseball World Series!

As part of the CCPS “Atlanta Braves Day”, students and staff are encouraged to wear Braves paraphernalia, memorabilia, or team colors and jeans in the preparation of Game One of the World Series vs the Houston Astros (Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 8:00 p.m.).

“Clayton County Public Schools is proud to show our support of the Atlanta Braves as they represent the state of Georgia on the largest stage in baseball,” said Dr. Morcease J. Beasley, Superintendent/CEO of Schools. “We wish them the best of luck throughout the series and hope they can bring another championship to the city of Atlanta,” he concluded.

Employees and students opting out of CCPS “Atlanta Braves Day” are encouraged to continue to dress in standard business attire and appropriate school dress as expected. All departments with uniformed staff should coordinate with their immediate supervisor to determine the appropriate work apparel.
