CCPS Superintendent Offers Condolences for Ms. Jovita Moore
Clayton County Public Schools Board of Education and Superintendent/CEO of Schools, Dr. Morcease J. Beasley, offer condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of WSB-TV Channel 2’s Ms. Jovita Moore, who passed away late Thursday night.
“For 23 years, Ms. Moore was very much involved in the communities and citizens throughout Clayton County and across Metro Atlanta, keeping us informed and challenging us to be better people,” Dr. Beasley said. “We will very much miss her insightful reporting and her grace when facing adversity or tragedy during the course of her work.”
“Speaking for the entire Clayton County Public Schools’ family and the Clayton County Board of Education, we offer our sincere sympathies to everyone closely associated with Ms. Moore, we also offer our sympathies to those who only knew her as a representative of WSB-TV News. She will truly be missed by everyone,” he concluded.
