Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) announces its first Winter Graduation Ceremony for seniors throughout the district who have completed state requirements for graduation. The ceremony will be held in the main gymnasium at Jonesboro High School, 7728 Mt. Zion Boulevard in Jonesboro, Georgia, on Thursday, January 13, 2022. The graduation will begin at 6:00 p.m.  All participating graduates should arrive at Jonesboro High School by 4:00 p.m. and report directly to the school’s gymnasium. 

Due to COVID-19 precautions, attendance will be limited. Participating candidates for graduation are receiving four tickets to share with guests. Candidates will receive tickets to provide to their guests on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 and can pick up the tickets from their counselors. Participating seniors with questions regarding Winter Graduation should direct them to their respective schools. 

All individuals attending the 2022 Winter Commencement ceremony must provide a negative COVID-19 test result prior to attending. Tests will only be accepted from within a 48-hour testing window prior to the graduation ceremony. To locate COVID testing sites in Clayton County, please use the following link: 

In alignment with district protocol, masks will be required and social distancing will be encouraged.
