Clayton County Public Schools’ (CCPS) Superintendent/CEO of Schools, Dr. Morcease J. Beasley, reminds everyone that Tuesday, May 24, 2022 is the date of Georgia’s General Primary Election. He encourages all stakeholders to exercise their constitutional right to make their voices heard through the ballot box. Forty-six (46) of our campuses/properties will serve as in-person polling locations for this election. Since this is also the last day of the 2021-2022 school year, there may be additional traffic at these locations.

Visitors to our campuses should be patient and should add a few minutes for any travel to and from our schools. Be aware that parking may be limited at various school locations due to end-of-school activities and the election. We ask visitors to our campuses to exercise best/appropriate judgment while navigating our parking lots/school grounds and adhere to any instructions issued by a School Resource Officer (SRO), Campus Security Officer (CSO) or a member of Clayton County School Police.

Polling places across Clayton County include Elementary Schools (Anderson, Arnold, Brown, Callaway, Church Street, East Clayton, Fountain, Harper, Hawthorne, Haynie, Huie, Jackson, Kemp, Kilpatrick, King, Lake Ridge, Lee Street, McGarrah, Mt. Zion Primary, Mt. Zion, Oliver, Pointe South, Riverdale, River’s Edge, Smith, Suder, Tara and West Clayton); Middle Schools (Adamson, Babb, Eddie White, Forest Park, Kendrick, Lovejoy, Mundy’s Mill, North Clayton, Pointe South, Riverdale and Roberts); High Schools (Lovejoy, Mt. Zion, Mundy’s Mill, North Clayton, and Riverdale), the S. Truett Cathy Professional Learning Center, and Utopian Academy for the Arts.

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
