The purpose of the Clayton County Public School (CPPS) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is to support employee wellness and overall well-being, increasing productivity, and morale. We recognize that life demands and stresses can adversely affect the employee morale and ability to perform their job well. The Deer Oaks Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a no cost benefit to CCPS employees, their dependents, and household members by the Clayton County Public School System.
The program provides a wide range of stress management tools to meet individuals’ unique needs. The EAP program offers a wide variety of counseling, referral, and consultation services, which are all designed to assist you and your family in resolving work and life issues in order to live happier, healthier, and more balanced lives. From stress, change management, locating childcare facilities, addition, legal assistance, and financial challenges, qualified professionals are here to help. EAP services are completely confidential and can be easily accessed 24/7, offering you around-the-clock assistance for all of life’s challenges.
All callers seeking to access counseling services will receive a telephonic assessment to ensure that short-term, solution-focused counseling is appropriate. A Deer Oaks EAP case manager will work to ensure clinical appropriateness of all services offered and to obtain authorization for sessions. If short-term services are not appropriate, Deer Oaks will assist employees and/or their family members in coordinating with their State Health Benefit Plans (SHBPs) or private healthcare plan for referral assistance through the medical benefit.
