Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to share the following information regarding the Joy Tellis Scholarship Fund! Created by Ms. Joy Tellis Cooper, Clayton County Board of Education Representative of District 8, the Joy Tellis Scholarship Fund is designed to award $500 scholarships to CCPS high school seniors. Scholarship consideration will be given based on academic achievement, financial need, and the student’s community service record. Please see the following criteria and guidelines for the Joy Tellis Scholarship Fund.


Joy Tellis Scholarship Fund Criteria:

I. Applicant must be a college-bound Clayton County Public Schools senior from Morrow & Forest Park High Schools
II. Applicant must intend on pursuing a four-year college/university degree
III. Applicant must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a degree in business 


Joy Tellis Scholarship Fund Guidelines:

I. Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in July.
II. Scholarship awards are a maximum of $500 to be paid annually in full by July 31st. 
III.  This scholarship is non-renewable. Only high school seniors intending to enroll in a four-year college or university are eligible to apply. Previous scholarship recipients cannot re-apply.
