Clayton County Public Schools (CCPS) is proud to announce that eleven students from two high schools, Elite Scholars Academy (ESA) and M.E. Stilwell School of the Arts (MESSOA), have been named finalists for Georgia's Governor's Honors Program (GHP). The GHP is a highly competitive residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program. 

CCPS congratulates these students on their outstanding achievements and recognition as finalists for the GHP. The students represent a diverse range of academic fields and talents. Their selection as finalists for this prestigious program is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional abilities. The GHP is an opportunity for the state's most gifted and talented students to engage in a rigorous and challenging academic and artistic environment, surrounded by peers who share their passion for learning and creativity. 

The eleven CCPS students selected as finalists for the 2023 Governor’s Honors Program are:

Caleigh Murillo, MESSOA (Science)
Patrick Pool, MESSOA (Social Studies)
