The Board made the following appointments
at the meeting held Wednesday, July 12, 2023:
Angela Jenifer, formerly the Assistant Principal at Jackson Elementary was named Principal at
Jackson Elementary with Clayton County Public Schools
Dr. Lee Buddy, formerly the Chief Engagement Officer with Cleveland Metropolitan School
District was named Principal at Kay Pace Elementary School of the Arts and Acting Principal
at M.D. Roberts Middle School of the Arts with Clayton County Public Schools
LaKeisha Sims, formerly the Assistant Principal at Oliver Elementary was named Principal at
McGarrah Elementary with Clayton County Public Schools
Millicent Crews, formerly the Assistant Principal at Live Oak Elementary with Newton County
Schools was named Principal at Oliver Elementary with Clayton County Public Schools
Michael Thompson, formerly the Assistant Principal at Hawthorne Elementary was named
Principal at Tara Elementary with Clayton County Public Schools
Stephanie Trice, formerly the Principal at Drew High was named Executive Director –
Secondary Academics in the Teaching & Learning and Strategic Improvement Division with
Clayton County Public Schools
LeKisha Anderson, formerly the Assistant Principal at Church St. Elementary was named
Acting Principal at Suder Elementary
Tonya Pugh, formerly the Assistant Principal at Mt. Zion Primary was named Acting Principal
at Lee St. Elementary
Monique Caldwell, formerly a Teacher at Michelle Obama STEM Academy Elementary was
named Acting Assistant Principal at Harper Elementary
