During a scheduled Work Session of the Clayton County Board of Education on Monday, October 30, 2023, Superintendent/CEO of Schools Dr. Anthony W. Smith recommended and received approval for the appointment of the district leader listed below to aid the district in achieving the goal of “Building a Better Tomorrow, Today!”. 

  • Ta-Tanisha Harris - Assistant Principal at Kay R. Pace Elementary School of the Arts

  • Jared Fowler - Assistant Principal at Pointe South Elementary School

Additionally, Mr. Brian Baker was introduced to the Board of Education and community as an Assistant Principal of Riverdale High School. This action did not require board approval.
