The Clayton County Board of Education is pleased to announce that Ms. Mary Baker, Board of Education Representative of District 6, will host a Gun Safety Awareness “Lock It Up” event on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.

 

To be held in the media center at Jonesboro High School (7728 Mt. Zion Boulevard, Jonesboro, Georgia), this event is open to all Clayton County Public Schools families and community members. In addition to Ms. Baker, this event will feature State Representative Yasmin Neal (District 74), Clayton County District Attorney Tasha Mosley, Clayton County Police Chief Kevin Roberts, Clayton County Public Schools Safety and Security Chief Dr. Reynard Walker, and Packing Pretty Firearms, LLC’s Ms. Daphne Jordan.

 

Free gun locks and other resources will be available for those attending while supplies last.
