Clayton County Public Schools encourages all stakeholders to participate in the upcoming Georgia Run-Off Election on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. As a result, Clayton County Public Schools will implement an Extending Learning Beyond the Classroom (ELBC) Day in which all students will participate in asynchronous (independent) virtual learning. This decision is being made in conjunction and alignment with other Metro-Area School systems.

In addition, all employees will participate in a digital day to provide an opportunity for all to participate in the run-off election. “I ask that all department leads and supervisors be flexible with staff to accommodate voting,” said Dr. Morcease J. Beasley, Superintendent/CEO of Schools. “As we look to exercise our constitutional rights, we must have all eligible voters do their part and have their voices heard at the ballot box,” he said.
