
Clayton County Public Schools is proud to announce that Riverdale native and North Clayton High School alum Mariah Stackhouse is a finalist for the 2023 Velocity Global Impact Award. This honor celebrates players who have helped to grow the sport of golf and to inspire the next generation of athletes to have a positive impact in the world.
After graduating from North Clayton High School, Ms. Stackhouse attended Stanford University in California and led them to a national championship in 2015. At present, she is a professional golfer playing on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tour.

Stakeholders can vote once a day until the deadline on Monday, March 6, at 12:00 p.m. EST. The recipient of the 2023 Velocity Global Impact Award will be announced on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 – International Women’s Day.
